Nov 2023 – present · Software Engineer, Qase

My scope has moved through three areas of the platform — test execution, AI tooling, and analytics.

  • Test execution. Designed and maintained the services that carry out test runs and store their results.
  • AI services. Built the export side of the autotest generator, which turns manual test cases into runnable code. Added Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber and Robot Framework targets across Python, Java, C# and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with asynchronous export jobs and credit accounting.
  • Analytics. Work on QQL, the platform's query language, and its ClickHouse runtime: a time-series query builder, custom-field filtering, aggregation over large volumes of test results, and backfills at production scale.
  • Natural-language querying. Built the pipeline that turns plain-English questions into QQL, with schema-validated model output, a refusal path for questions it cannot answer, a circuit breaker and rate limiting.

Sep 2019 – Sep 2023 · Software Engineer, Avito

Core Services Infomodel — the system managing metadata for classified ads, such as categories and their interrelated properties. Peak load around 450K RPM, with roughly 660 GB of specifications held in memory for fast access.

  • Migrated hundreds of gigabytes of specification data to Ceph storage in production without downtime, cutting costs significantly
  • Designed and built a new RPC API for the main metadata service
  • Led the transition to a new categories tree, reducing the complexity of creating attributes and shortening time to market

Feb 2018 – Sep 2019 · Software Engineer, MTS Bank

Headed the Risks team and implemented scoring in the bank's microservices platform. Designed and released services for processing personal data, including an AI-based service for recognising passport details from images.

Feb 2017 – Feb 2018 · Full-stack Developer, Mozaika Synthez

Built and maintained a new online bookstore and the publisher's main site. Led the move to a modern front-end stack and improved back-end fault tolerance with MariaDB replication.

A range of projects at an outsourced digital production agency — advertising campaigns and online storefronts.
